The Clutha Appeal

On the 29th of November 2013, a police helicopter crashed into a local Glasgow pub, injuring many and killing police and civilians alike. In the wake of this tragedy, several members of the Strathclyde Police teamed up to write and record a single in efforts to raise money for those affected by the tragedy.

“Won’t Forget”, written by PC Paul Keenan and performed by other Police officers along with Jai McDowell of Britain’s Got Talent 2011 fame, broke into the top 20 on the iTunes chart within 48 hours of being released. The story was picked up by multiple news outlets and broadcast on STV’s Scotland Tonight.

As this was recorded at the SAE Institute in Glasgow, I had the privilege of working to create the music video along with two others. The video can be seen below:
