COMPLETE Canon EOS HDSLR Comparison

The goal of this post is to provide a concise round up of all the main specs of each Canon EOS DSLR that shoots HD video. My hope is that this can be a good resource for those looking to quickly compare the different HDSLRs that are available to them from a technical standpoint, as well as providing links to good reviews, good test footage and good films made by these cameras.

*DISCLAIMER #1: There is no way that I will have the time to search out every video, very post, every review, etc about each of these cameras. If I have made an error in reporting about these cameras, please let me know. If I have not included a link to your favourite post or video relating to these cameras… I apologise. Feel free to send me the link to your recommended page, but I may not have time to continually update this page to include everything that is sent in. I do, however, intend to update this page as new cameras are released and new information is provided.

*DISCLAIMER #2: This post is strictly related to Canon EOS DSLRs. If there is enough interest, I intend to make a similar page for Nikon DSLRs (the ones that shoot HD video) as well as for some of the larger single chip cameras: Arri Alexa, Sony F3, Fs100, Red (all varieties), Canon Cinema EOS (C300 and future releases), Panasonic AF-100/ 101, etc.

*DISCLAIMER #3: There are other great sites that have good reviews of Canon vs Nikon DSLRs. There are also great posts comparing DSLRs with large single chip cameras. This is not one of them. Something for another day perhaps…
